Pair of chiseled and gilded bronze chenets of the model of the children who are cold, they represent putti gushing out of a leafy scroll and being heated with a flame, base with channels, small spinning top feet. Louis XVI style, XIXth century, Length : 36, height : 28cm. Original model attributed to the bronzier Jean Noël Turpin, after a drawing by Jean François Forty around 1785. The Camondo museum and the Palace of Versailles keep comparable candlesticks.
